One of the essential traits that a leader requires is integrity and honesty. Integrity is the act of being uncompromised and showing consistency in both ethical and moral values. Honesty means the level of the truthfulness of a person's actions. Both integrity and honesty are vital so that one can show the ones they are leading the leadership skills they possess. Secondly, a leader should maintain effective communication. Effective communication means that the leader can convey their message to those they are leading. The proper connection helps in the provision of constructive feedback. Thirdly, a leader needs appropriate decision-making skills. Appropriate decision-making means that the leader needs to think before making any moves in their decisions after which they own what they decide. A leader requires innovation and the ability to collaborate with their team leaders. Innovation means the ability to invent ideas from the team members and include them in every process.
Future leadership style
One of the leadership styles I would incorporate is the managerial style. Being a manager means that one is efficient in what they do and are on top of all the happenings in their institution. As a manager, I would ensure that I know all that my followers want and steer any organizational policies in the right way in case I am in charge of any organization. Also, the relationship with the organization's staff would be friendly as a result of practical leadership skills. Another leadership style is being collaborative. Collaboration means group empowerment and productive discussions with the group members to have a consensus agreement. The results of collaborative leadership are servant-based goals for any missions to be accomplished. I would ensure that collaboration is useful when dealing with my followers to offer adequate guidance. Another leadership style is based on transformation. Transformational leadership means that a leader pursues needs and values for an organization so that more people would change their attitudes towards achieving the organizational goals. I would ensure that I take transformational steps when in charge of a group in the future.

Life example on my leadership
I remember two years back when I was selected as a leader on my brother’s wedding committee. Managing a group of ten members of the committee was not easy. I was authoritarian. The authority was as a result of wanting the members to cooperate in every step we made. However, not all the members welcomed the power in me. To some, it was a bad leadership skill. The committee members often shared their ideas on how they wanted the wedding to be arranged and all the logistics to the final day. I usually provided a listening ear to all the views from all the group members. Listening to all ideas was a good leadership skill the members appreciated. I was the one in charge, so I made the final verdict. The boss-like nature of concluding was a good leadership style I possessed.
