Leadership involves the act of inspiring individuals to work towards achieving a specific goal. Leaders can be found anywhere at home, school, and workplaces. Some leaders are famous, whereas others are not popular. The most influential leaders in history include Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Abraham Lincoln, and Steve Jobs. At home, a leader could be that sibling or parent who ensures that there is an order in their household and that every individual's needs are met. Effective leaders are good communicators; they state their goals clearly and direct their followers on achieving the same goal. The actions of successful leaders inspire others for they are passionate about their work and put efforts to ensure that they succeed in what they do. Good leaders see potential in their team; they help people maintain their strengths and improve on their weaknesses. The confidence in effective leaders enables their followers to trust in them. The most effective style of leadership is transformational leadership, and a renowned transformational leader is Steve Jobs.

Transformational leadership is a style of leadership whereby leaders motivate and inspire their followers or employees to be innovative and create changes that will facilitate the growth of their organization. This leadership style can be achieved by developing a positive corporate culture, encouraging employees to improve their work, and creating a sense of independence within the organization (White, 2018). Transformational leadership is effective for it allows leaders to inspire and motivate their followers without supervising them. These leaders trust their employees and give them the authority to make decisions regarding the duties allocated to them. Giving an employee the power to make decisions regarding their work creates confidence in them, and they will be willing to show their leader their full potential. This management style gives employees room to show their creativity; by finding solutions to their company's problems. A transformational leader is capable of transforming their follower into a leader by training and mentoring them.
