Realism refers to a position of philosophy implying that the universe or universals are as real and measurable as physical materials. Nominalism, on the other hand, depicts that universals do not exist in the same way as other physical objects as well as tangible objects. Nominalists trust that physical staff in time and space are genuine, and universals are ensuing to specific things. They trust that what is seen by us exists in actuality. There are no ideas basic as a general rule, mostly the wonder before us. 

In other ostensible adaptations, there are sure terms called as unique substances like numbers and other solid substances that never exist in time and space like seats and tables. Realism represents the inclination to see or speak to things as they truly are. It’s a guideline which expresses that universals usually exist beyond the brain. It is the idea of conceptual or general items. They further clarify that things existing under the same property or characteristics are under the similar universal form. Pragmatists additionally contend that people likewise have a method for summing up something. They also insist that for phenomenon like language to exist there is usually some universal quality explaining it.

I agree with the student’s argument about realism and nominalism. Universals usually involve a class of items or entities that are mind-independent and are usually in contrast to individuals. As the student says this debate is crucial as it offers different views and applications about the universe and also many life situations .People will continue to disagree about realism and nominalism this is because there is no evidence to suggest whether universals have an actual physical existence or they simply exist in the mind.
