Many children tend to have specific needs which implicate the way they get to grow and develop generally. Most child development assessment involves having all the data concerning the changes they get to experience in their early ages. The children's assessments in question aged five years involve the parent's and guardians' essential involvement to ascertain the physical changes. Since physical assessments are dynamic when it comes to the five-year-old child, I will acquire information from the parents and caregivers, which will prove beneficial enough to gather data on the physical aspect.

On the other hand, when it comes to the twelve-year-old, they can easily express themselves in more coherent ways, thus makes it easier to note the physical changes. The modified assessment technique of observation, parent ratings, individual portfolios, and standardized sets makes it easier for the caregivers to interact with the five-year-old (Kaufman 2018) quickly. In the modification, I will read out questions to the five-year-old and offer help in writing answers. It becomes more accessible for the twelve-year-old to answer the questions with much ease without assistance; thus, I will quickly answer the answers and make further conclusions.

At the age of five, the child is at a childhood stage with significant changes, mostly in the physical aspect and the sensory and mental point of view. From the physical part, children begin to gain more weight of roughly 1.8 to 2.25 kilograms with an increased inch of 2 to 3. Their vision becomes more transparent and has more coordination of the body's parts like the arms and legs. They experience their first teeth that break through their gums and eat more hard food (Butchon 2017). The children's operation skills show the writing potentials and balanced efforts of standing in the right balance. It proves more progress mostly in the physical context, enabling them to differentiate their previous self and the current ones.

Children begin to have more utterances with added vocabularies of more than 2,000 words in the sensory and mental milestone and get to speak more sentences and phrases. They can quickly identify coins and can count them well enough without difficulty. Some get to know telephone numbers in their minds and can easily say them with ease. In their mindset, they are capable of asking relevant and more resonant questions that require active meanings. The children become more responsible by showing less aggressive behaviors and when they make mistakes quickly, apologize (Butchon 2017). They get to outgrow all the early childhood fears and adopt more bravery towards facing them. Children easily make friends amongst themselves and can easily play and relate with them. They get to know more about what happens around them by being very cautious; therefore, it proves much progress in their development.

In assessing Erickson's developmental theory, I will assess the entire situation by focusing on the critical abilities of reading and writing down the questions. Erickson is required to have significant cognitive skills, mostly while in school, to enhance his chances of answering the simple sums (Cherry 2018). Having peer groups will improve his operation capacities since he will gain more self-esteem towards handling every task. In achieving the needed cooperation, it is essential to involve the caregiver who will gather information from Erickson's best friend, making it easier for him to socialize well enough when he is with his friends. It will enhance the caregiver's critical capacities to avail of the child's unique needs and support them. The finding will entail talking to Erickson on how to deal with some issues affecting him in school.
