The outbreak of Covid 19 brought in to halt the better living of human existence globally. A few individuals narrowly practiced individualism and inequality, but the Covid 19 pandemic outbreak has exacerbated the pre-existing and tension making life difficult. Discussed below are ways in which inequality is practiced:

One way that Covid 19 has exacerbated the pre-existing inequality is by bringing about the division of labor. The increasing number of small groups of persons making contact and meeting in a small town or workplaces has gone high ( Blundell et al., 2020 ). In this situation, every person knows the person he is meeting is a close relationship. Those who have no close relationship are likely to lose their jobs to those who have a close relationship. Covid 19 pandemic has also brought increased use of machines, robots, and other modern technologies to replace human labor in the name of keeping social distance. Therefore, some people will be fired, bringing labor division.

Secondly, Covid 19 has exacerbated inequality through the issue of money-economy. Highly-paid workers work from home and still earn their salary, while the lowly- paid workers do not have that option ( Gallo et al., 2020 ). Some of them have lost their jobs due to this Covid 19 pandemic. People living in rural life have been hit harder by poverty than those living in urban life. The relationship between the have and have nots has hardened as the rich mistreat the poor. The gap between them has also widened.

Lastly, through the Covid 19 pandemic outbreak, health care issues are another way that has increased inequality. The wealthier have the freedom to be treated anywhere as long as they can pay while the poor are dying of illness ( Cooney et al., 2020 ).
