There are various ways through which the lenses could support the physical dimension of wellness. To begin with, understanding what drives a healthy behavior can facilitate a change in habits toward the desired goals. Secondly, knowing what enhances morale is essential in designing activities that will motivate an individual to engage in the desired practice (Naci & Loannidis, 2015). Thirdly, determining what is sustainable is useful in coming up with plans that can work effectively and last throughout the intended course. Last but not least, understanding what is equitable is elemental in making sure that a given regime is fair, and that an individual is likely to benefit from the exercise. Overall, all these factors would substantially increase the chances of success in the desired outcome.

I always viewed wellness from the perspective of physical health, such as weight and nutrition. However, I have discovered a lot more. I have learned that wellness is a product of various factors such as emotional, spiritual, and mental wellbeing working in unison to power the body, mind, and soul. I always took a reactive approach to wellbeing so that I only considered action when I was feeling unwell or uncomfortable. I have since realized that wellness is about living a full life, with all faculties of the body, working in harmony. I now know that wellness is a lifestyle geared toward achieving the best version of one possible. Wellness enhances relationships and improves our interactions with family, friends, and colleagues (Strout & Howard, 2015). Adequate self-care is therefore necessary for individuals to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives and to co-exist with others in harmony.
