Queen Elizabeth 1 was crowned the queen since 1559 when she was 25 years old. The Queen had a passion for her country and she dedicated her entire life to it. She was smart, beautiful and healthy and her people adored her as their king and not just a woman. The Queen never married nor have children. She termed the country had her husband and took the people she ruled has her kids. Hence, the queen did not see the meaning of marriage since the value and needs for her country, and its inhabitants came before anything else (Strickland, 2013).
On the hand, there was King Victoria who was the youngest of all to take the throne. Queen Victoria took the leadership since 1837 when she was 18 years old. She ruled much longer than any other king in the British history of Monarch. Although, Queen Victoria hated the life of publicity she loved and adored being the queen of India. Unlike Queen Elizabeth 1, Queen Victoria married the Prince Consort Albert who was her first cousin (Cawthorne, 2012). She got nine Children, which include five daughters and four sons. Her husband died in 1861 at the age of 42.After her husband's death; the queen ordered that her husband’s statutes be to put all over the country. She fell into a depression and withdrew from the life of public. She mourned her husband for thirteen years, and her people started losing faith in her. She later began appearing to the public, and through the help of her eldest daughter, she became the grandmother of Europe.

Between the two seems that there is a big difference. Queen Elizabeth 1’s only responsibilities were to dedicate her entire life to her people thus, achieving her goals. On the other hand, King Victoria had to commit to both her family and public. Thus, in one way or the other she forgot and withdrew from the public.
