According to my understanding, philosophy is the study of theories of basic things like the nature of knowledge, truth, essence, and meaning of life. Thus, philosophy has established ideas on how to live and do something in life. As such, examples of philosophy are ethics and morals.

In my opinion, science is a system that enables individuals to acquires knowledge through discovering, observing, experimenting, and describing and explaining events occurring on natural phenomena. Examples of science are biology, earth sciences, geology, and physics.

Based on my view, theology is the study of the nature of God, God’s relation to the world, and it explains the particular system of faith and worship of God by people in the world. The examples are as follows Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, and Hinduism.

The relationship between science, philosophy, and theology prevails in approaching questions concerning the natural world and human nature, which form a subject of various discussions. In regards to the scientific view of the natural world, there is no disapproval that God is the creator of the universe (Auletta, 2007). Human nature is portrayed in the natural world through various undertakings. As such, God is considered the creator of the natural world on which scientists, philosophers, and theologians focus their activities. Similarly, theology focuses on worship, revelation, and faith. On the other hand, philosophy provides more opportunities to comprehend the meaning and interprets the wisdom that is in today’s world.

One aspect that depicts the difficulties associated with different understandings of science, philosophy, and theology in the world today is the evolution of technology. Technology has enhanced the capabilities of science, which makes it assume that humans can be created artificially and that immortals might exist in the future. While in philosophy and theology, it is believed that God created humans, and when they die, they can never gain life again. Consequently, philosophy still supports various elements of technology, which are not acceptable under theological doctrines. For instance, some philosophers might agree with the artificial creation of humans based on their moral and ethical schools of thought. As such, the evolution of technology is one aspect that illustrates the differences in understanding of philosophy, theology, and science.
