The manager is responsible in making sure that there is efficient utilization of the resources provided without overlooking any department for equal treatment in provision of resources and any other medical requirements. 

Managers are responsible for determining positions, teamwork assignments and distribution of authority and responsibility.

Setting priorities 

Managers are required to account for resources such as supplies, equipment and staff to ensure that the facilities are prepared in any situation. 

Setting performance targets gives a sense of direction to staffs as they pursue achievable targets. 

Managers help in prioritizing tasks and responsibilities that are very crucial in medical organizations to eliminate conflicts in the working environment. 

Controlling 

Monitoring staff activities and performance 

Taking corrective action to increase performance 

Managers are required to keep track of staff activities and performance for the purpose of ensuring they are working on the targets set for them and are working towards quality and efficient service delivery. 

Healthcare environment is one of the many areas that have difficult working conditions due to the massive workload it contains. Therefore, managers should be swift in taking actions that increase performance for easy healthcare service delivery.
