Galileo Galilei

I have learnt that he taught applications of mathematical principles which included building bridges, protected cities and how to create weapons of war. He also did wide research on motion and machines as well as doing experiments with inclined ramps which produced the principle of uniform acceleration. He also later on discovered the telescope.

His biggest legacy according to me was creating a telescope with a greater magnifying power which could observe far-away places. According to Words of the World (2010), Galileo used his telescope to view sections of the moon, where he discovered that the moon was not as smooth as everyone thought it was. From this he made a conclusion that the moon was made of matter just as the Earth.

I would take him to the National aerospace agency (NASA) because he was an individual fascinated by the universe.Gallileo discovered a powerful telescope which He used to view the moon. It could be intriguing and amazing for Galileo to realize that it was NASA that did all the preparations to achieve landing the first man on moon. I would also take him to the Massachusetts institute of technology (MIT) because, based on (Winston, 2019), he was a keen student of mechanics, ballistics and tried to understand forces that acted on moving bodies. This could be a great place to take Galileo because MIT is regarded as one of the premier collages of science and technology.

He would be shocked by the modern engineering masterpieces, for instance he could get shocked by suspension bridges because Galileo taught students how to build bridges. Moreover, since Galileo was interested in space exploration, he could get dismayed by the progress that has happened for example using rockets to go to space and to the international space station.Gallileo was interested in mechanics so to be present on Earth and see the progress that has happened in mechanics such as engines and the production of electric cars could be encouraging to him.
