The three bodies that offer certification and educational requirements for leadership in nursing include AACN Career Center who has dedicated their time and efforts for employment opportunities in nursing education. They outline the conditions needed for learning such as essential documents that will help the students throughout their learning period (AACN, 2019). They also launch different programs to make sure that they address the issue of shortage of nurse educators by strengthening the information clearinghouse in the aim of helping students in their future career in nursing at large. The second body is ANA Enterprise which considers itself as a nursing world that prepares nursing students for their certification. Their motto is to advance nursing sector to improve health for all (ANA n.d). The enterprise also provides all the requirements through promoting a safe and ethical working environment as well as bolstering the health and wellness of nurses. They provide the educational needs and improve patient care by supporting individuals as well as organizations that are in the nursing profession to advance in their future career. The final one is the ExploreHealthCareer or (EHC) which is an organization that has collaborated with other health professionals and other health organizations to help them in starting their careers as health providers (Liaison International, 2018). One becomes a certified CNL after meeting admissibility criteria and pass the certification examinations. These criteria and certification are guided by the above bodies. Under the certification, the nursing leaders are required provide a point-of-care leadership in situations with unique complexity.

Advanced Practice Registered Nurses play a pivotal role as health care providers regarding the future of healthcare. They include nurse practitioners, nurse anesthetists, clinical nurse specialists, and nurse midwives. They are considered to be the primary healthcare providers who are always at the frontline to make sure that preventive care services have been provided to the public. The roles of an APRN include providing primary, acute as well as specialty healthcare services across the life span of a human being by making sure that the patient is well assessed, diagnosed, and treated according to their illnesses or injuries. Although APRN are fully equipped to offer healthcare services to patients across the healthcare continuum, their roles within each APRN varies.

For instance, the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist is expected to deliver a wide range of patients’ anesthesia and anesthesia-related care for anyone irrespective of their age. They are allowed to operate in pain management centers, critical access hospitals, hospital obstetrical delivery rooms, and surgical suites and many more. On the other hand, the certified nurse midwife attend to a full spectrum of women’s primary healthcare throughout their whole life. The areas of operations include family planning services, gynecologic care, prenatal and preconception and postpartum care, care of the newborn, and childbirth. They offer treatment to both partners for sexually-related diseases (ANA n.d). They work under diverse settings including hospitals, homes, birth centers, and in a wide range of ambulatory care settings. So, a CRNA cannot perform the role of CNM. They have ethical guidelines that make sure that they play their roles fairly and accordingly. They have been advised to be honest and professional in their line of duty.
