To bridge the gap between schools, the government should prioritize funding schools. The government can achieve this through the implementation of a progressive tax code taxing wealthy citizens more. Through this, the government will obtain more revenue for improving the public education system. The government will also manage to increase funding for teachers, especially in low-income regions, thus improving teaching quality in public schools.
