The three videos are not only heartbreaking but sad and extremely sad. There is no greater poverty than a life in which one is not sure about where their next meal will come from, where they will spend the night, and the direction their life is taking. It is sad to realize that behind the many rich and good looking countries and environment, there exists a person who are not only torn and devastated but are also on the verge of giving up hope in life. Life should never be about struggling to put food on the table, it should never be about missing a daily meal, and it should never be about uncertainty or hopelessness.
One of the most outstanding issues in the three videos is that humanity is no more. Humans have lost their firm grasp on humane values and have allowed materialism to permeate their minds as seen in Bangladesh (Unlmedia, 2010). Poverty is a social problem all over the world, only a few like the highlighted cases of Zambia, Haiti, and Bangladesh. Haiti’s case is miserable with malnourished and poorly dressed children all over with little protection (Bold Hope, 2012). These are regions with governments in place, leaders in place, and lack some of the most fundamental basic human rights. How it comes about, how it happens, how poverty ends up ravaging people’s lives as evident in the videos is still a mystery. A government’s primary role should always be to provide an excellent economic and social framework for progress and development. What a miserable and frightening way to live? Zambia’s case is mind-boggling, considering it is one of the wealthiest nations on earth courtesy of its natural minerals (Public Eye - Focus on Global Justice, 2012). However, materialism, greed, and lopsided social and economies priorities have pushed its citizens to the edge of desperations.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
The world is a beautiful place; with very good-hearted people-but it is getting the worst from its very custodians. Life is gradually losing meaning; it should never be about suffering and death. Life should be about celebration and joy, positivity, and getting the most out of it.
