Self-directed violence
This is the act of inflicting deliberate injuries on oneself, leading to disability or even death. There are several behaviors that an individual has that tends to harm them, and they include suffocation poisoning taking overdose medicine, gunshots, burning themselves. These actions can lead to death. Most people who self-direct violence always wants to commit suicide, and death is the ultimate.
Interpersonal violence
It refers to any act of violence by a person or a group of people against others, which may be physical assault, sexual assault, and domestic violence. Interpersonal violence kills many people and also causes disability or mental illness,

Collective violence
It is the collective behavior involving a large group of people, threatening others, and causing violence. \those acts include terrorism, rebellion, and even war. This can because people to be displaced, and even others can die. Collective violence can also be a conflict between the two nations, and this can cause war.
Among the three forms of violence, interpersonal violence is the leading cause of domestic violence in the US. This is because this form of violence can sometimes involve lovers or married couples who can abuse each other. The interpersonal violence comes about when one person tries to control the other person, which causes domestic violence because the other party may resist the control (Gulina, Tikhomandritskaya, & Burelomova, 2018) . The resist may bring about physical abuse, body injuries, or even sexual assault. Sometime, the people affected by domestic violence may start stalking the other party. The domestic violence tends to bring mental instabilities, depression due to the f ear instilled in the victims (Kumar, 2017). This can lead to drug abuse, and if not solved early enough, it could lead to death.
