Transferable skills can be described as the specific knowledge and abilities which hold significant relevance in various aspects of life and practice. Such elements may include social, professional, and learning institutions. Some of the transferable skills that I gathered following participation in the teamwork project include effective communication skills and the specific ethical responsibilities that can be practiced to avoid exposing our organization to particular risks. The attitude of medical students towards communication varied in terms of the confidence it impacts, and the perceived relevance of communication skills to their interaction with patients. Also, I established that the attitude of students regarding ethical provisions of practice, notably the privacy rule varied from student to student depending on how they perceived the relevance of privacy rule during practice.
Communication is a vital tool and which contributes broadly to patient-oriented practice, and hence patient satisfaction. Now that I have learned how to overcome the barrier to effective communication, I would use that knowledge primarily to establish, analyze, and solve potential problems within the practice. On the other hand, I would incorporate ethical consciousness, especially the healthcare privacy rule, by protecting patients that may be needed to participate in research. Protecting the individual rights of such patients will assist me in establishing trust and a growing quality of practice.

My future goals in medical practice revolve strictly around the two transferable skills that I have elaborately described in the previous sections of this assignment. First, I would commit to making my communication skills better each day. By so doing, I am assured of elaborate skills that guide patient engagement.
