To begin with, the nursing sector requires leaders to have unique characteristics in order to bring out the required change in the organization, this has led organizations to use different strategies to bring out the best from these leaders and managers, and one of the strategies being used is the distribution of responsibility. To create a conducive and effective working environment, organizations use this strategy, by distribution of responsibility; leaders are given the opportunity of seeing what may come out as a result of risk taking. It also goes ahead to increase the resilience of the organizations to issues that may arise over time. Through being responsible in different matters, leaders practice their skills and become competent, that leads to the transformation of any organization. When organizations give managerial leaders more authority and responsibility that makes them to be more confident in whatever they do and can identify themselves with the organization. Second, organizations can use the strategy of being honest and open in regard to information, these equals to the old adage that says, information equals to power, organizations can design a leadership structure from which information flow from top to bottom, this is because when information is passed to few stake holders and the managerial leadership do not obtain the information, then trouble would arise, when this leaders lack information, it may undermine their confidence in proposing different ideas that may be conflicting with the stake holders. Employing transparency on the other hand, will lead to the improvement of the day to day activities of the organization and hence positive transformation.

Another strategy that can be brought into place is the creation of multiple paths for creating ideas and testing them, this is a very vital strategy because developing new ideas is key to the transformation of any organization, leaders and managers can use this strategy by setting up different ways for which people create innovative ideas and make them to be more creative in their own, this strategy differs from the common organizational norm in which one person in an organization was responsible for making directives and ideas were limited to only a few people. Organizations get transformed when people and leaders are allowed to make different ideas which Improve productivity.

Another strategy that an organization can use to empower leaders is the provision of opportunities to meet with other leaders in other organization. Enabling managers to interact with leaders from other organizations makes them more open and very adept in what they do, it enables leaders to exchange ideas and views and hence recognize their unique talent in understanding what the organization needs hence promote the transformation.

Organizations can also invest in the education of their leaders, let the leaders and managers take short term courses so as to improve their skills, the organization can opt to pay for these leaders tuition fee as they study, the organization may create for these leaders a flexible working schedule so as to make them attend their schooling, doing all these empowers the organizational leaders and in turn will create a positive transformation in the sector.

Organizations can also share their visions with the future leaders and managers as a strategy of empowering them, sharing the vision will make the leaders to be passionate about the positions they hold in the organization, and make them to relate with the vision of the organization. The organization may also provide different ways of contributing to the vision, ways such as incentives may be used to encourage the leaders to participate in ways that bring out measurable results, sharing the visions will empower the leaders and the leaders will play the role of making the vision come to pass.

Organizations may also use the strategy of rewarding the efforts of the leaders as a way of empowering them, the genuine efforts of leaders should never go unrecognized, the small achievements of these leaders should be recognized, that will enable them to take risks and try new adventures in the been to help in the transformation of the organization. Rewarding the leaders will enable them to see that effort and success go hand in hand, and in the end rewarded.

Another strategy organization can use to empower leaders is, Reward in public, correct in secret, organizations should strive to reward their leaders in public whenever they achieve success but when it comes to correcting them, they should not do it in public or In front of their juniors as this may disempowered them. Using failure as a learning opportunities is another strategy employed by different organizations so as to create a positive transformation, this is one of the best strategy to be used to empower the leaders and managers of any organization, bringing positive results, will require the leaders to be build up and not tone down, therefore failure should be part of learning in the organization and not a point of criticism. Doing this will enable leaders become fearless in innovations and eventually take risks in generating new ideas.

Communicating well with leaders can also be applied as a strategy of generation positive transformation in the organization, therefore organizations should aim at cultivating a working environment that encourages dialogue. Communication should actually flow from upwards to downwards, leaders should be made easy to communicate their ideas with stakeholders, and organizations should therefore show interest in the professional lives of the leaders.

There are several leadership qualities that make up good leaders in an organization, some of the characteristics include honesty and integrity, leaders should be honest in their work and integrity creates a conducive working environment. Another important characteristic that a leader should have is self-confidence, leaders should believe in themselves, a good leader should also be inspiring to the junior employees and have passion with what he or she does. Being passionate about5 their work enables them to be honest about what they do and work with all of their heart and mind, these are the most important leadership characteristics as they start with the individual him or herself, observing them attracts positive results unconsciously. To conclude, their, empowering leaders in an organization by either communicating well with them or distributing responsibilities to them makes them to be empowered and thereafter lead to the transformation of an organization.
