The transition from Steve Jobs to Tim cook has made the technology giant industry change in numerous ways. Now the stakeholders and customers are more cared for in terms of social aspects. According to Jones (2015), Tim has change the apples culture; the company is not seen to be more collaborative and can own up to mistakes. This will make the customers and stakeholders to trust it more and find it easier to approach it when they have issues with their products (Jones 2015).
Tim Cook has improved sales phenomenally; apple sold over 300 million devices in 2015. Financially there is increased revenue as the company managed to generate over $233 billion in revenue. In 2015 the company had over $70 billion in free cash and an additional $144 billion in net cash (Jones 2015). This means the company has had its strategies bear fruits and its increasing in productivity and profits. It is also reported the company is performing and growing better than its competitors. Apple is also investing heavily and has a strategy to make some future products that will be superior in the market and will involve great innovation and technological advancement (Jones 2015).

However Tim cook, as the new Apple CEO seems to be failing in his recruiting and staffing. Cook has fired some of the staff and this has gathered much negative feedback from different experts and observes. Cook is seen to be rater confrontational to his employees as there is no good reason why he fired John Browet as the Apples retail boss. His choice of Angela Ahrendts has been criticized as inferior and a bad move (Somaney, 2015). The company has also performed poor in stock as compared to other giant companies like Facebook, Amazon, Google, and Microsoft.
In conclusion, Tim cooks leadership has changed Apple by focusing on strategies to productivity, innovation and product improvement. With his leadership revenues generation has grown by a great margin and there is increased sales. However, his leadership has failed on recruiting and staffing. He would also need to improve on stock market influence in order to make apple more appealing to stakeholders and investors.
