There are various factors that affect attachment security. When the opportunities for attachment are more the chances of the attachment security being stronger are always high. Same case to the quality of caregiving, when the quality increases the attachment security becomes stronger. Some infants are less friendly than others; it takes a while for the attachment security for those who are less friendly to be created. When the family circumstances are the poor creation of attachment security is also very poor. When the parents are always busy with work and have less time for their children, then the creation of attachment security is very poor.

Different types of attachment theories explain more about children’s attachment behavior by studying how they respond to the people around me.

Enhancing the quality of caregiving and increasing the opportunities of attachment can help greatly in encouraging the development of trust between the caregiver and the infant.

Secure attachment is mostly created when there is a repeat of positive experiences with the caregiver. But an insecure attachment is created when the child experiences so many negative and unpredictable moments with the caregiver.

One long-term outcome of secure attachment is the child can trust people easily. But for insecure attachment even when the child grows old, it will be very difficult for it to trust people.
