The short article ‘Unpacking the Invisible knapsack’ had 26 statements, and I awarded myself one point in every ‘yes’ response I provided. Out of the total questions, I scored 23 out of 24. I always wish to arrange to be in the company of the people I belong to in the same race. Racial discrimination is very prevalent in society regarding prejudices in employments: poor health services, income inequality among the radicalized groups. I got a high score because I mostly choose to stay with people from my race. When I want to move, I am sure purchasing and renting housing in regions I can afford and I would like to live. I am also convinced that the neighbors will be pleasant to me but mostly because I believe the chances of finding a place with people from my race is high. Most of the black Americans are the ones who are harassed the most, and thus, being white, I believe if I go to a shopping center, there is less chance that I will be harassed or followed. When I turn on the TV or open a newspaper, I see people from my race well represented. I am sure the children, when given curriculum materials they can confirm that their race is represented. When going to a music shop, I will find my race is well represented, and in the supermarket, I will find the food that matches my cultural traditions. When visiting a hairdresser, I will find someone who can cut out my hair the way I prefer.

I am not surprised that you scored 25 out of 25 from the presented statement in the document. Being female and white has a huge impact on the score as the questions appeared to be in your favor. The answer to whether or not one will see persons of the same skin color when going to the store or after turning the TV on will be yes because you are a white person in Canada. Being female and white, the police will also not question if you are a suspect when in need of help. I agreed that a criminal record is highly linked to race. It is also true that during interviews, black students are likely to be questioned more by the manager of the interviewer.
