I am writing this letter to express my views on the various healthcare reforms, including the affordable healthcare act. The affordable healthcare act has attracted debates in the congress since the former president Barrack Obama signed it into law. I agree that the legislations of our congress are meant to improve our healthcare system and allow citizens to have access to healthcare services. I agree with the congress view that all Americans have a right to an array of choices for Affordable Health Insurance Coverage. I am glad that you support the idea of Texas citizens to have access to quality healthcare, which will help in promoting the healthy people 2020 agenda. The health people aims to promote and uphold health reducing the number of deaths, as well as preventing disease, which will guarantee that American citizens achieve equality in healthcare.
American citizens that support Obamacare were happy when you voted or the GOP health bills that would have otherwise weakened and compromise the capacity of people with preexisting conditions to receive healthcare. I also support your stand on the issue of the affordable care act. The affordable care act is one of the healthcare reforms enacted by the federal government to protect individuals suffering from preexisting conditions from exploitation by health insurance companies. The act allowed people with pre-existing conditions lifelong insurance. The law maintains that it is illegal for health insurance companies to deny people with preexisting conditions insurance cover. Currently people with preexisting conditions like cancer blood pressure and cancer are no longer worried that their health insurance may fall out of their reach.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
According to the Healthy People 2020 data, the number of people under the age of sixty-five with medical insurance is increasing, implying that the affordable care act is important. In 2012, 83% of people had medical insurance, but by 2017, the number had increased to 89.3%. The increase in the number of people with medical insurance is due to the provision o Obamacare. Obamacare expanded health coverage to low-income families via the Medicaid program. Moreover, affordable care permitted young people to enjoy health covers using their parent’s health plans until the age of twenty-six. Obamacare also makes it mandatory for health insurance to cover the cost of preventive care.
Preventive care, according to the healthy people plans entails early screenings, blood pressure tests, and vaccines, which help in preventing diseases. Similarly, medical professionals and patients are also happy about the affordable care act. Patients from low-income families can now access healthcare unlike in the past where most people from poor backgrounds could not access healthcare services due to the high cost of care and inadequate insurance coverage. Though some medical practitioners complain about the strict regulations on the programs, they are glad that ACA benefits the less fortunate in society and more people can access care and afford their prescriptions.
Although we still need reforms to address the deficiencies and challenges of the ACA program to get sustainable solutions, the Obamacare program is among the important health reforms that changed the quality of health or many people. The programs have increased the number o people with health coverage. The senate can, therefore, help in removing barriers that prevent people from accessing affordable and equal care.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.
