As I progress through my career and business growth, my attitude and view of leadership and leadership style have also changed. In my interactions, I often find myself observing how the leader tackles situations and obstacles that hinder their success. Also, I always observe their nonverbal reactions towards such situations keenly and try to figure out what goes through their mind and how they disseminate information to the juniors. While I was still young, I observed leaders as those who take charge and bark orders, reprimand employees, and delegate tasks. As I have gained experience in the leadership world, my leadership attitude has changed and now believe that leadership is not all about being a boss. Therefore, leaders must not be those who take charge, but anyone can lead from any level department of the organization. In addition, a leader should progressively strive to perfect their leadership styles.

There still exist gaps in leadership quality, and according to Schawbel (2014), the leadership gap is the difference between perception and reality. In my view, when such gaps exist can be explained in many ways. However, from my experience, I think that the gap is created due to the inadequacy and standardization of training by the organizations. There is an extreme difference in forms of training across the generations, and due to the growing information gap, the seasoned leaders are disadvantaged because they lack a vital set of technological skills. Leadership should be dynamic, and the gaps should be honestly identified as wisdom and continuously spread knowledge widely. This will lead to a progressive improvement plan which managers can use to initiate adaptive training for leaders across the organization levels.
