Part 1

Ideology is a set of political beliefs and opinions of an individual or a group that characterizes certain cultures. There are two political philosophies or ideologies in America. They are Conservatism and Liberalism. The Republicans are known to be the conservatives, while the Democrats are the liberals. As a Democrat, my ideology is Liberalism. I go with this ideology as I believe in its idea and visions. There are several ideas of Liberalism that make me continue being a democrat. I find those ideologies beneficial to society, and they make our country better.

The government has to protect its citizens and give them freedom. The government should bring about social equality and protect the environment. I support voting rights and minority rights, where even women have the right to participate in elections, and LGBT has the rights in society. Nobody should be discriminated against for their sexuality. Liberalism advocate for the improvement of the quality of education offered in America. They believe that better education helps our children become better people in the future. The ideologies keep the government on its toes because the individuals always push it to fulfill its purpose. In Liberalism, there is less division as the ideologies inseparably unite people. We believe in equality and nondiscrimination, and this is one of the uniting factors of the democrats.

Part 2

There are different forms of Liberalism—each liberalism advocate for other ideas that are meant to make a difference in society. There is one Liberalism that I believe is the best, and it is Classical Liberalism. Classical Liberalism is a political ideology that advocates for civil liberties under the rule of law offering economic freedom. It gives individuals a chance to make decisions without government interference. This tends to bring about economic growth as the individuals have the sole responsibility of making their wealth. I think that Classical Liberalism is the best as it believes in the formation of a small government, and the individual gets freedom from the government. The ideologies in classical Liberalism advocate for ownership of private property, the market economy, the rule of law, and a constitution that guarantees the citizens the freedom they need. It gives them the freedom to worship, press, freedom of expression, freedom from slavery, and freedom to do anything as long as it does not violate others' rights.

Classical liberalism advocates for the government's minimal state ere the government needs to protect its citizens' rights and provide services that are not accessible in the free market. It means that the government needs to protect individuals from foreign invaders. The individuals hope that the government will not let them down, and they work hard, believing that they are protected. The government always benefits from protecting its citizens and giving them freedom as they become more productive, helping to grow the economy. Several advantages come with classical Liberalism, and they include:

Few regulations that give individuals more liberty and do not limit competition.

It brings growth to the economy, as there are no government regulations to explore different business ideas.

It allows a business to gain whatever they can in the market without violating any rights.

Allowing consumers to achieve whatever they can without violating any rights

Gives individuals the responsibility for their wealth. An individual can do whatever they want to get wealth as long as it does not violate any right.

It brings about privatizations of almost everything in the society as there are no government limitations.

It gives individuals the right to defend themselves.

It is the government's responsibility to build and maintain public institutions and infrastructures.

However, these advantages are the ones that make this form of liberalism the best.
