American ideology can be influenced to allow a secret government to operate outside of the democratic principles of the United States by relying on the predominant power. Since 1776 to the current times, those influencing decisions have been those with money, undermining democratic principles. Those who have income-producing businesses and land are the ones with the voice on the nation's direction. The elites with banks, corporations, big real estates, and much more call the shots other than the citizens (Domhoff, 2014; Archer, 2017). These elites are influenced to work separately on many policy concerns and dictate the procedures which guide the policy. Their engagement is evident in influencing taxation tendencies, supporting or refusing labor unions, and trade treaties. The government voted by the people is not committed to the people's interests since there is an invisible group of power elites who dictate how things run in the nation.
The corporate community forms the group of power elites that dominates the priority of the local citizen. Corporate domination persists when this power elite determines the people who serve as directors and leaders in the nation's profit and nonprofit organizations. This "power elites" control is displayed through stock ownership, engagement on the board of directors, financial support, and many others (Domhoff, 2014). The power elite has policy leanings and positions that they have to support to reinforce their interests.

Broadly trained experts with a leaning for environmental and consumer concerns can integrate their technical information and knowledge of the legislative process to influence the nation's proper practices and policies (Ingber, 2018). The citizens should decide the elites that have a remarkable impact on policy by voting for those they feel have their interests at heart. In that way, the nation will be ruled by the wealthy few, who are opposed to the democratic principles to dictate the practices and policies upheld by the rest of the people.

There is also the deep state that determines how things must run, not caring who is holding the positions granted by the citizens (Lofgren, 2016). This situation synchronizes with the ideas of Domhoff (2014) on power elites. The president and elected leaders are not allowed to make domestic policies and budgets with the people's interests. Even the appointees into the office of officials are determined by these goons concealed behind the visible government.

With their potency, the leaders liquidate Americans without the necessary processes and conduct unethical activities with economic and social impacts. The government has become so pervasive that the citizens disregarded their manifestos and intentions (Ingber, 2018). The invisible government is not responsible for the people that voted, as they are concealed behind the one that can be seen. In a way, this invisible government leads the nation based on patterns that favor their operations. The deep estate frustrates the rights and privileges of the people as they are committed to their enrichment and perpetuation.
In conclusion, the power elites or deep estate is a hybrid that is not responsible to the people but seeks to pursue their interests. This inner group's visible government is being controlled in various departments who have jurisdiction over the nation's affair illegally. The deep estate influence decisions that determine the citizens' eventual leadership voted into political positions. The democratic principles have been violated repeatedly, with the citizens experiencing the hit.
