Question #1

It is quite normal for an employee to be frustrated especially when there are injustices and discrimination towards his or her fellow employees. In essence, Allen should be left to keep his job with the Extreme Net Company. According to the rights theory, there should be an agreement that will keep Allen on the job. While he acted out of anger, it was right for him to complain to the top management. However, failure of necessary actions meant that the firm was a fault too. There should be an agreement between Allen and the company to correct all the mistakes rather than sacking him.

Question #2

While attempting a lawsuit is an option to be taken by the company, it is not the best way forward. On rationale point of view, there should be an agreement that will seek to favor both sides. Using the social contract theory, there should be an agreement to stop all the hostility and build the reputation of the company.

Question #3

It is always critical to respect the rights of individuals especially employees in a firm. However, securing the interest of the firm is a complex virtue altogether. Discriminating workers, especially by their gender, often tend to tarnish the name of a company to the general public. To respect the interest of the company as well as that of the company, Extreme Net’s leadership should stop mistreating the workers as well talk to Allen to remove the site from the net. Additionally, it should ensure that Allen doesn’t lose his job after removing the site.

Question #4

Considering the impact of economic downturn, the company’s financial interest will be at stake if it keeps many employees. To achieve a balance and at the same time build a relationship with its workers, the company should release some of the employees but not based on their gender alignment. It should, however, compensate them for their remaining contract and as well assuring them of a return to work formulae once the situation is resolved.
