1. If you had a choice, what would your coffin look like and why?
If I had a choice, the coffin I will be buried in would be shaped like a guitar. The reason for this is that I love music and the guitars provide me with the opportunity to strike some good tunes that lighten my heart. My interest in playing guitar was born at a time when I was so depressed, and I was contemplating suicide. It was at that time that I met a friend who was a musician and played guitar. He offered to give me his old guitar, and as he taught me how to play it, the sadness in my heart went away. Despite the frustration of the many attempts at making a good tune, I finally learned my way through the art of music. Ever since then, I have had hope in my heart, and I wish everyone to have a positive outlook on life and never give up. I would like for my coffin to become an inspiration to many. This way, whenever anyone looks at my coffin during my funeral, the sadness will lift away, and they will reflect on the good times that we had together.
2. Would you want a coffin as elaborate as the ones created in Ghana and West Africa? Why or why not?

I would want a very simple coffin, unlike the ones made in Ghana and West Africa. I believe that as much as I would want people to be impressed by my coffin, the expenses used to buy it should be minimum. The reason for this is that life will go on after I die. Thus, I would not want my family to struggle to make ends meet because they used most or all the resources to buy a well-designed coffin. Moreover, there are many people in society and the world at large who are poor. The finances that used to purchase the elaborate coffin should be saved and offered to those in need. This way, I can contribute to making the world a better place to live for the people left behind after my death.
