Youths of every dimension and upbringing have a central role to play in socio-economic issues and developments all over the world. Youths also represent the level of failure or success of a country and particularly of a government. My decision to support the National Democratic Institute is borne out of their support for youths and young minds, encouraging them to channel their aspiration, creativity, and energy towards becoming activists and political leaders. I have often been worried by the high number of young people, especially those in the age bracket of 18 to 35 who are marginalized politically and have challenges making rational political decisions. At the same time, my interaction with youths has unearthed a grim situation in which youths lack the experience and skill to engage in social and political issues that could lead to positivity in their respective communities.
I want to promote and create more awareness of the participation of youths in political and leadership issues by becoming a blogger and promoting NDI’s ideologies online through their website- https://www.ndi.org/what-we-do/youth-political-participation . I will create a Facebook and Twitter groups that help people build on their confidence, knowledge, and skills by participating in NDI’s social activities such as political forums, discussions, and socio-political events. My blog, Twitter, and a Facebook account will all be linked to NDI’s website that will keep all participants and followers engaged in various socio-political issues around the country. My primary target will be my close friends and online colleagues who I will share the idea with and engage them through the established forums by sharing, tagging, and following.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
Social media, especially Facebook and Twitter platforms, will play an essential role in bringing the like-minded youths together, creating awareness through online sharing and engagement with the leaders of the National Democratic Institute. The forums will be shared, hash tags created and new blogs written to keep the youths engaged in day to day political and social issues in their communities.
