1st Corinthians 13:12 communicates on the “little things.” It reads, "Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror, then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known." This passage communicates to me that I should be ready for God’s plan and unfolding based on the fact that he has a plan for me even while doing the little things in life. It is an earnest calling for appreciating the little things that come our way and always confide in his will and plan as it manifests variously and distinctly.
Particularly, the things that take up my time as a clinical psychologist entail meeting with clients to identify problems in their lives. The problems can be emotional, mental, or behavioral. Additionally, I participate in thorough observations, interviews, and tests to diagnose any potential or existing disorders. Other job-related descriptions entail, developing and implementing treatment plans and therapeutic processes and monitor client progress via regular meetings. Moreover, I help clients define goals and action plans that will help them achieve personal, educational, social, and vocational development.

Matters of dignity are imperative in the line of work as a psychologist. Despite the problems that patients succumb to, they yearn to be treated with utmost respect to inculcate a feeling of self-worth. Often, many troubled patients yearn for being treated with dignity as they have been subject to endless mistreatment and stigmatization from the community. First, I will ensure that I give patients an avenue for “speaking up” without fear of retribution. Second is be humble with the daily actions; not manipulating workers and eliminating any chances that can lead to stigmatization. Finally, is to generate positive energy via making conversations revolve around positivity (Sittser, 2009).
