Spiritualism will last since it is viewed as one of the ways of solving the problems that mankind undergoes in the world. One of the NRMs that will not last is nature spirituality since there is a wide gap between the religion and the followers. The universalist religion is unlikely to survive since it seeks at uniting everyone to one supreme being which might not be possible due to the different religious background.

Globalization is likely to lead to the integration of various religions across the world. Additionally, secularism, globalization, religious pluralism, social issues, and politics are likely to have a positive or a negative impact on religion. An example, globalization might adversely affect the religion of a particular community with the introduction of a new religion by visitors. On the contrary, interfaith movements might positively influence the growth of religion through the creation of a strong interdenominational movement.
