Genesis is a biblical text that describes the creation story of the man and everything else existing on earth. The question of whether we can distinguish the hands of various authors in the books of law or whether the accounts of contemporary creation borrow from the Genesis Story. The Coffin Text and Genesis story are very dissimilar writings, but the stories are intertwined in some ways. The Coffin Text illustrates a man’s needs and preempts a man’s transfer into the eternal life. It illustrates a yearning to get back to be part of the god's fraternity in the heavenly world. There is a similar story in Genesis story as man is left to live an entirely free life with God being their Creator, who also comes to visit them every evening. Though different, each of these accounts demonstrates a man’s desire to fellowship with God who was their creator as well as the alienation that sin and flesh bring to man.

The narrative that man was formed out of clay appears to be the most known creation motif. As a part of the Egyptian narrative, the potter god Chnum also formed human beings out of clay, but utilizing the potter's wheel. The notion of man's body being formed to take the likeness of God is not as old as the narrative that indicates that the body was created out of clay. This idea, though not comprehensively expressed as in the Bible, is found in the Epic of Gilgamesh, where Aruru forms Enkidu by using clay after conceiving a "double of Anu," a god of the sky. However, in the biblical accounts, in most instances, the whole deal is not in the creation story but with the individuals' lament.
It has been increasingly determined that ideas circulate in the speed that the travelers, trade goods and merchant ships circulate. Ideas could not just be limited to specific texts in specific national environments. Instead, it must be cognizant of both an extensive global dimension and the distinct scenarios of the production and circulation of ideas and information, incorporating the viewpoints that have been suggested by the circulation process. Considering both what is circulated (taking in various kinds of ideas on the creation and everything else) and the distinct scenarios and challenges that influence this circulation, it will thus offer a background for both biblical and global contexts.
On the other hand, when travelers go to various regions, a transfer of information, cultural backgrounds, and historical contexts to those places they go to, happen. Even for the people, they find in the places they visit, the travelers interact with them and exchange ideas with one another. Similarly, goods are traded to various regions far from where they are produced. Merchant ships also move from one place to another taking people and goods to the regions they travel. The point is that information keeps on shifting from one person to the other, and from one region to the next with speed.
