Hello Armando,
In response to your post, I agree with you that Christianity, Judaism, and Islam share common beliefs and origins. The shared customs, traditions, and beliefs include celebrations, the significance of prayer, pilgrimage, cleanliness, and charity. All Muslims, Christians, and Jews share a common belief that Abraham made a covenant with God, thus referred to Abrahamic religions (Bennett, 2020). Both Muslims and Jews observe the lunar calendar during their religious celebrations, which occur at different times of the year since they follow the moon’s phases. The need to worship and praise monotheistic God is common in all religions (Shibli, 2014). Additionally, prayer is the primary worship style, whereby each domination stipulates particular words and specifications for prayer, which happens at appointed places and at different times of the day. All the religions have places for worship, like the Muslims use the mosque. Therefore, I think that all three religions worship the same God and have a common faith.

Hey Valerie,
I learned that there had been conflicts among Christians, Muslims, and Jews over the last couple of centuries. However, the three Abrahamic religions, Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, share the monotheistic belief structures from the Middle East. All the religions have noticeable similarities, such as offering sacrifices, promoting peace, pilgrimage, an eternal life, and a monotheistic God. Jews, Muslims, and Christians honor the ritual of purification through fasting. I agree with you that Mosques provide Muslim communities' needs since they all worship together on Fridays. However, with all these similarities, there have been conflicts among the three Abrahamic religions, and yet they all share originality and have a common belief system (Wibisono et al., 2019). Due to their different cultures and social settings, all the religions promote their culture and beliefs independently, leading to the rise of unnecessary conflicts among the communities. I recommend further research and study that goes beyond the focus of conflicts and violence.
