Response to Jerry Sanders
I agree with you that maintaining a culture of integrity in organization guide individuals in making ethical decisions, as in the case of Theresa and Mike. Your post is similar to the other students’ posts in that it has outlined numerous ethical theories that are relevant in the workplace. The most essential approach of building a values-driven culture in the workplace is to ensure that ethical guidelines are made available to all the employees (Ferrell, 2016) . All individuals in the workplace should familiarize themselves with all the organizational ethical theories, which include utilitarianism, common-sense ethics, virtues, and Kantian. You have given a well-articulated explanation of each theory. However, which ethical theory assists in establishing an effective relationship between the employees and the clients? Do you think that DeGeorge’s guidelines give sufficient techniques for boosting employees’ performance in the workplace?
Response to La’Markus Wesley
You give an excellent explanation on the concept of core values and ethical guidelines that Mike and Theresa attempt to incorporate in setting the new merger around the company policy. The discussion post relates to that of the other students in that it has explained on the essential forms of ethical theories such as utilitarianism that is employed in an organization to enhance decision making and develop future plans. The management in the organizations plays a fundamental role in ensuring that the daily routine occurs smoothly as the employees follow the set policies and abide by the regulations. Most importantly, the CEO must be able to make the key corporate decisions and act as the primary point of communication between corporate operations and the board of directors (Hamori & Koyuncu, 2015) . You have talked about the ethical guidelines that should be implemented in a company, but how would the ethical guidelines be used in solving conflict among the employees and the employers in case it arises in the workplace?
