Parole Board
Subject: Requesting for Brock Dewaye Crutcher’s early release from a correctional facility
Dear Board Members:
I hope you are doing well during this challenging time, especially with the COVID-19 prevalence. My name is Pamela Delilah Jones. I am an ordained minister and served in the military for almost sixteen years. This letter is in support of my brother Brock Dewaye Crutcher’s upcoming hearing for parole.
I have known Brock Dewaye Crutcher since childhood. He is my oldest brother and has been through challenging experiences that may have shaped his early life perspectives. Brock Dewaye Crutcher did not receive adequate parental love and affection. For example, when we were growing up, my mother was hardly home. Our family has five children, and it was challenging for her to find a stable job that provides the fundamental necessities like food and clothing and have time for us.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
Crutcher was a role model for young people, and the neighbors loved him. Despite being a hardworking student in school, my father never told Crutcher that he genuinely love him till his death. He was an exemplary basketball player who could have earned a scholarship and transform Irving town. Crutcher has always been passionate about education and extracurricular activities. When I was sixteen years old, my parents sent me to live with my aunt and uncle. At that point, Crutcher wanted to join the military to support our family and community. Unfortunately, my mother discouraged him from enrolling in the military. Throughout his life, Crutcher wanted our parents to see him the way the neighbors and I did.
Crutcher endured rejection which made him feel sad and lonely. My grandfather sent him to a youth center at a young age, making it challenging to graduate due to a lack of access to vital learning resources. Such experiences can damage a child’s mental and emotional wellbeing. I acknowledge that Crutcher has made mistakes. I would humbly release him so that he can receive the love and attention that he missed growing up.
Crutcher has admirable qualities that would make him a resourceful community member. He is a born-again Christian who is fully accountable for his mistakes. I have interacted with him, and I can assure you that Crutcher lives by Biblical principles. He has been leading his cellmates in prayers, offering support and care to new inmates, and avoiding any form of altercations. Crutcher believes that forgiveness is the solution to enhancing humanity. He promises to show everyone the love to boost their self-esteem and change their worldview.
Furthermore, Crutcher has learned essential skills while in prison. His leadership, problem-solving, communication, and adaptability skills are evident in how he interacts with inmates and correctional officers. Crutcher treats everyone with respect and dignity. Also, he has completed Master Resilience Training (MRT), Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP), and the Inside-Out Prison Exchange programs. While life after jail may be challenging for inmates, Crutcher possesses the vital skills that enhance his chances of getting available job opportunities.
I promise to make sure Brock Dewaye Crutcher has a smooth transition from prison to the community. I will offer him spiritual counselling to mitigate negative thoughts and guide him towards a healthy thought process. He needs someone who can awaken his conscious thoughts and trigger a positive mindset. Additionally, I will provide him with financial support. He will be living with me, and I will be driving him to and from job interviews and community projects.
Please grant parole to Brock Dewaye Crutcher and allow him an opportunity to start over his life and use his skills and intelligence to contribute to the community.
I wholeheartedly believe Brock Dewaye Crutcher deserves a second chance.
Thank you for your time and consideration. May God bless the parole board.
Sincerely,
Jones, Pamela D SFC MIL USA MEDCOM MCAHC
