The Story begins with a love story in West Bank, where Sally met her husband. The two were soul mates; hence it was apparent that they would spend the rest of their days together. They were, however, faced with the dilemma regarding where they would raise their children. West bank was not favorable owing to her husband`s unpleasant childhood. Initially, they raised the 3 bundles of joy in New York before deciding that they needed a suburban existence. The devout Muslims, honestly thought that they had the freedom to practice Islamic anywhere.
The September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center changed everything. Neighbors ignored Sally, as well as the people at work. Drivers even gave her the insulting finger. She told the children not to speak to avoid attracting attention. Sally`s husband found the incident unsettling judging from his background. One year later, she knew that neighbors didn’t consider her American, when their van was vandalized. Her husband told the children it was normal to avoid worrying them.

Sally`s 12 year daughter Chloe never had Muslim friends. At 9 years old in 4 th grade, she met her teacher who appeared nice initially though after September 11 everything changed. She was inconsolable upon been picked by her mother. The teacher had issued a book attempting to educate students about the attack. This was a horrible day that left thousands dead. “Muslims hate Christians and Americans”, said the teacher. Students looked at her and visualized her mother who always wore her hijab and assumed that she was one of the bad ones.
A book was presented to all 4 th grades in the United States. The plausible argument presented was quite unsettling for Chloe. Sally`s children were the only practicing Muslims at the school. In this case she was the only parent who appeared disconcerted with the September 11 materials presented in Chloe`s class. The once jovial girl was turned to appear as an extremist. They even called her Osama saying that her mom resembled him. Friends kept questioning Chloe on why her mother wore the hijab. Chloe and her siblings were harassed at school. They were reluctant to believe that Muslims are not bad.
Owing to the immense pressure, Chloe decided to renounce her religion because she was under too much pressure. The mother was very upset. She was, nonetheless, sure that some adjustments needed to be made given the situation. For instance, they did nothing for Ramadan during that year. Later on as Christmas approached, the teacher appeared prejudiced when she presented an ideal form of symbolism claiming that Jesus would only save those who were Christians. Later on, even Chloe`s best friend turned against her. The department of Justice later on got involved though details were not provided owing to a settlement being arrived at with the school in March 2005. Chloe had to be home schooled before being enrolled in another school. Besides this, when the entire family decided to move, Sally`s husband opted to leave and head back to West Bank. After moving, Chloe went to a new school where she no longer experienced what she had to go through before. Though despite all this, it is far-fetched that the emotional scars can easily be healed.

This initial part of the clip relates to the school life whereby the scum club and school principal Mr. Power engaged in cat and mouse games. Scum stood for the corruption and undoing of morals. Mr. Power would call the scum club to his office and insinuate that they had something to do with an incident that occurred at school though he lacked evidence. He would occasionally ask Adam Stein the leader of the club if they had anything to do with it. Stein would indicate he was busy doing mathematics and hence had no idea regarding the incident. One of the common pranks the club performed involved stacking benches. Mr. Power told them that if they stacked 20 benches a crane would have to come to school and put them down which they surprisingly did. Another prank happened when they dug a toilet in the middle of the school. An LA police helicopter appeared but no one was caught since the police were on another call in the area. Mr. Power called Stein to his office and told him that he was aware that he did this and he would have proof of this before Stein graduated.
When time comes for Adam to graduate, he walks towards the podium picks up the perceived diploma while shaking the Principal`s hand, walks back to his seat; and upon opening the envelope, he sees some sheets of toilet paper stacked there in the holder for the certificate; as if to return the favor for the pranks committed by Stein. This is the true definition of a cat and mouse game. In the first act another example is that of the people who called themselves minute men. This group intercepted perceived illegal immigrants at the Mexican border. Another group emerges at their immigration post causing trouble as the cat and mouse game ensues.
The second act explicating the story or life in prison involving the cat, a violent prisoner and mouse; new inmate. The latter was observed talking to the bull frog, in this case the chaplain. Upon learning what the mouse had done to get in prison, the cat realizes he would not like to mess with the mouse. Tables turn and the mouse is in control. The next act involves a story about Eric who would not be able to get his couch of choice regardless of every attempt he made. This is typical of a cat chasing a mouse in all the wrong places. Of all the cat and mouse games, this last example is perhaps the most delightful of all. A graffiti writer in this case the mouse, sneaks into the dark of the night seeking to leave his mark, with the New York Police Department chasing after him seeking to make an arrest. Up to 75 NYPD officers make it their full time job to look for this teenager. All these are without any doubt exhilarating examples of a cat and mouse experience.
