Human beings interact daily as they follow the rules that may separate them or even bring them together in society, groups, and institutions. Sociology studies these interactions among people and also looks into the problems that they encounter in the functioning of society. As society is developing, it may undergo some changes in different sectors such as culture, education and even the politics carried out in society. Sociology helps one to understand the consequences of these changes and also give attention to the changes and different parts of society (Westbrook, 2019). America being a state whose foundation is built on the society may also undergo some changes due to different demands in politics which may result in an order. This essay will analyze the factors that may cause changes in the US.
To begin with, the authority and matters concerning decision making were distributed to several groups which made it easy to influence America socially and the Europeans rarely considered it a true state since they considered a state to have its separate ruling class from the society (Westbrook, 2019). However, through decentralization, America displayed how the society governed itself and with the rapid developments, people were involved in the government processes such as elections which led to the development of America's democracy. With the development in a democracy, it was expected that there would be developments to make America a centralized state and authority would be from the national administration.

As changes occurred in the world, America was also affected where the state became unstable due to its less powerful administrative power, there were conflicts among classes on labor and finances, disputes in industries and financial institutions and conflicts due to the increase of people in the urban centers which required a powerful administrative body to curb the conflicts (Westbrook, 2019). To help improve the country, reforms were made and America became a centralized state where its procedures depended on the courts and the ruling political party (Westbrook, 2019). The state also had control of all resources present and would be the one to manage all aspects of building the economy. The state provided equal grounds for all societal activities and ownership of resources and the workers and government would have more influence on the production of goods and their distribution over the private owners which would create a free market. With the creation of a free market, capitalism would be enhanced.
With time, several political suggestions on how to run the state and its economy were made which led to the rise of democratic socialist who wanted America to be a large prospering state within the society of capitalism as what the Europeans had talked about. The state and its welfare were to be based on its market to improve the economy (Westbrook, 2019). The democratic socialist wanted the economic system to be run legally in a peaceful manner such as through elections and the ordinary citizens were to be considered to have more power than the government.
Through democratic socialism, every person was to be empowered regardless of their place of work, the culture and gender issues were to be reorganized to bring more equality in the state and the money that was on politics in the capitalist government was reduced. It also helped in creating a human goal and everyone had the opportunity to give their views and support them in a conducive environment (Westbrook, 2019). Therefore, America has improved through democratic socialism and has brought order and equality to society and the state.
