Environmental Management principles are helpful in environmental management as they guarantee safety. These principles consider management systems, water waste, solid waste, air pollution, and hazardous spills as causes of harm that prevent the protection of people ( Chandrappa & Das, 2021) . This context covers air pollution control as one consideration that can enable applying environmental management principles. The use of polluter pays and user-pays principles are beneficial for controlling air pollution because it ensures people remain cautious and think of other better options to protect the atmosphere from harmful gases like carbon monoxide. The relationship between controlling air pollution and safety exists because preventing this pollution handles diseases and other consequences. The application of the principle of effectiveness and the precautionary principle focuses on the impacts like skin diseases to ensure people try their best to avoid the results of the process ( Babel & Poduval, 2020) . When preventing waste through being effective in production works, people will remain safe ( Sager, 2019) . Attainment of the general health of every living thing is what defines safety in this situation. Consideration of air pollution control strategies will always make people responsible, make better decisions, and develop a balance between a safe environment and a stable economy. The intertwining of safety management with air pollution control takes into consideration the principles of environmental management. A view on the polluter-pays principle will always lead to better safety measures that individuals like manufacturers have to implement in their activities ( Sager, 2019) . Development of objectives like a significant reduction in the emission of carbon monoxide into the atmosphere should involve complications like acidic rain, to consider the safety concerns like reduction in respiratory diseases. A mutual objective in such a situation should aim to use the polluter pays principle to reduce air pollution to reduce respiratory infections. This case considers environmental management principles, safety, and air pollution, and the same should be applicable in developing objectives out of other principles and the intended results.
