UFO sightings are sightings by astronauts on outer space identifying flying objects that are not known. The flying objects that are identified in outer space are some of the evidence that is claimed to be proof of alien visits. In the recent pasts, people have claimed and complained about alien abduction. Alien abduction describes people who get lost mysteriously and are captured secretly and abducted against one’s will by nonhuman bodies. People claim that people abducted by aliens are subjected to complex psychological procedures. Astronauts to come up with objective physical evidence by identifying flying objects that are not known therefore conduct UFO sightings. In the movie the Guardians of the Galaxy volume 1, the writers try to explain the existence of extraterrestrial entities that exist. The movie shows that aliens do really exist and have powerful technology and weaponry compared to humans. The topics on alien abduction can be witnessed in the movie when Peter Quill is abducted from Earth by aliens. The movie elaborates that the aliens do have another planet that they have inhabited. In the movie, the planet inhabited by aliens is the planet Morag where Peter Quill was abducted and been left there for the past twenty-six years. The Movie, therefore, highlights that aliens do exist. It uses the reports, speculations, and some of the UFO sightings that have recovered as evidence for alien existence, to display the aliens. Complex procedures can be witnessed in the movie when the abducted person is passed through numerous tests including medical, cognitive tests. In order to save the galaxy, Peter Quill forms an alliance with aliens and other extraterrestrial criminals who are escaping after stealing a special artifact in their planet. The Alliance mission is to save the planet that Thanos is aiming to destroy. Loss of memory and reported missing time can be identified in the movie when Peter Quill does not remember his last years before being abducted. It is until later that Peter Quill finds out that he is not very human and that is parents were part of an ancient species that formed aliens. The movie tries to show evidence of existing bodies that are powerful than the human race having existed in the universe. It is, therefore, safe to say that the movie highlights the significance of believing that we are not alone in the universe and other extraterrestrial entities do exist (Lynn & Kirsch, 2016).
It has always been perceived to exist other inhabited bodies besides the one on earth. Concrete evidence has therefore not been found to prove this. UFO sightings have been boosted by rocket based technologies that have been developed will aid in identifying objects and concrete evidence that will be used to make conclusions about speculations about aliens and alien abductions. Scientific methods require testable hypotheses so that inferences can be verified. These sightings by UFO are neither repeatable nor controllable which makes the study of UFO sightings extremely difficult and challenging. Scientists in the other have concluded that UFO sightings are a result of human actions or the weather.
