Hello Karen Mountain
After reviewing the article, I am fully convinced that Amazon is not a monopoly. Bf definition of monopoly, the market has only one seller and provides unique products. As an Amazon shopper, I can fully confirm that the products available at Amazon can also be found in other stores such as Walmart and Target. However, Amazon has expanded its operations and economies of scale making it viable to sell its products at a relatively cheaper price to fend off the fierce competition (Enquist & Sebhatu, 2018). Other organizations such as Woot and Jet have developed a new pricing system to attract more customers and compete with Amazon.

Hello Paige Miller
Generally, I concur with your findings on Alexa. I agree that Alexa is one the best innovations Amazon has ever discovered. Alexa seems to replace the human being roles; it is more efficient and wide reaching. Additionally, I would inform you that Amazon uses various techniques to communicate its strategies. Amazon implements various approaches to relay its message to the target audience. Apart from the weaknesses you have mentioned herein, I also feel that Amazon has failed to develop or penetrate in other countries, more so the developing ones (Bizzaco, 2019). The product should have a universal outlook to generate more revenue. Even though customers prefer mobile devices, Amazon should communicate effectively to let people know about the updates and the processes. Amazon is one of the best in the market, do you think it will have sustainable development programs to stand out for a long time?

Hello Amber Ellis
I concur with you that Amazon’s publishing is not only cost-effective but also its affirmation to stand out as the best online service company in the world. Amazon understands the needs of various customers before they ask for it. For this reason, Amazon stands out as an exceptional organization, and primarily for this publishing technology where consumers are allowed to search millions of titles, download, and share as if they are a part of a global genre community. I support you claims that “Amazon uses culture as its strategy and tactic in developing and communicating this innovation. Before Amazon Publishing, there was Amazon Studios, the exact blueprint except with film. While still aiming to reach breakthroughs through innovation, Amazon appealed to customer preferences via culture to access continuous growth and profit (Montgomery, 2019).” Do you think that Amazon’s technology and evolution in the industry will allow other start-up companies to penetrate the market and operate successfully?
