Could the War of 1812 be considered America's second war for independence? Explain. 

The war of 1812 is also referred to at the Inconclusive Revolution or the second American revolution because the first revolution the American fought for the independence of the nation. The war of 1812 gave Americans their rights and also gave the Americans the chance to show their courage, true colors, and the message that no one should mess with Americans when it comes to their rights. This means that the war of 1812 can be considered America's second war for independence as Americans gained their rights. Primarily, the war was fought against Indian and British allies against the Americans. This is the main reason why the war is referred to as the Second War for American Independence. 

Primarily, the Peace Treaty of 1783 was the reason why the first American Revolution ended. Ate the time of the end of the first revolution there was a massive expansion of territories and the United States had territories belonging to Spanish and the French. Moreover, the new American States was trading with nations in Europe and was at the same time building its military strength with aid from foreign consultants. On the contrary, the British did not like the self-reliant of America hence they developed a way to bully America by developing certain rules that would block the development of the United States.

To show its commitment to blocking the development of United States Britain started a war with France to forbade the U.S from trading or having any communication with France. Therefore, in 1912 under the command of James Madison, the United States declared war on Britain. This was the manifestation of war against the British for the newly created rights. 

To sum up the American war against the British can be considered America's second war for independence as the Americans were fighting the British bullies against their rights of trade with other nation and blockage for development.
