Based on race, 56% of Apple employees are Whites, 9% are Black Americans (no change), 7% Asian Americans, which reflected no change, 2%, multiracial a slight increase on one percent, and 1% and other race which signifying no change (Baca, 2019).

There is a need for Apple Company to increase diversity on the leadership levels, especially by increasing the number of women in leadership positions. Apple can resolve this issue by implementing an “accelerated recruitment policy” that will increase racial and gender diversity in the top leadership positions.

Technology change creates a need for a new type of managerial and social skills to improve the decision-making process and accommodate the existing organizational structure.
