Introduction 

It is no doubt that Apple Inc. commands a great deal of respect and fan base in the world. The firm has over the years made itself a giant in the tech world standing as the leading manufacturer and seller of mobile communication devices of media, personal computers and portable digital music players. The founder of the company, the late Steve Jobs ensured that innovation is the principle policy of the company leaving a legacy as one of the most innovative and competent CEOs in the world. Today, Apple Inc. rests on the able hands of Tim Cook (Eadicicco, 2015). However, Tim Cook does not stand alone and surely has a team that assists him in ensuring the firm remains an emblem of technology in mobile communication of the world. The following paper provides an organizational chart of Apple Inc., discussing the key leaders, their roles and how their responsibilities link to the mission, values and vision of the company.

The main leaders appear at the top of the organizational chart having numerous branches under them. According to Eadicicco (2015), Apple has:

The leaders in their roles act accordingly to ensure Apple Inc. continues to run as a global giant in the world of technological manufacturing. The collective input of these senior personnel trickles down to the employees and makes sure the entire company is working effectively in regards to their mission, vision and values as well as their set targets in the global market. 

Tying of Responsibilities to Mission, Vision and Values of Company 

The leaders undertake key roles and positions in the company all of which align with and endeavour to further the mission, vision and values of the company. Perhaps, it is best to first appreciate the mission, vision and values of Apple Inc. in order to comprehend just how these distinct roles and leadership positions align with them. The mission and vision statement as well as values of the company are the bases of the firm and guide its endeavours in every step the company makes. 

Mission 

The mission statement of Apple has changed over time because the firm believes that the changing landscape of business affects and necessitates a change in what it can do. The mission of Apple judging from its mission statement is to design Macs and the best personal computers across the globe as well as with the OS X, iLife, professional software and iWork (Rowland, 2017). The company is the leader in digital music revolution courtesy of its iPods and iTunes stores found online. In addition, the firm has reinvented the mobile phone by bringing forth the iPhone and App store setting the defining line of mobile media and computer devices. 

Vision 

The current vision of the company was introduced by Tim Cook and insists that the company believes it is the face of the earth in charge of making great products. The company is focused on consistent and constant innovation and believes in simplicity as compared to the complex (Rowland, 2017). The company feels the need and must to own as well as control key technologies behind products that it makes and only partake in markets where it make a major contribution. As a firm, Apple does not settle for anything less than excellence being furthered by courage to innovate and excel in ways others cannot. 

Values 

Apple values entail all customs, principles and qualities in which the company believes will help it as well as its employees succeed. The values act as the basis for what the company does and why the company does these things (Editorial, 2018). The values include empathy for clients, aggressiveness towards achievement, positive contribution to the society, vision in innovation, individual performance and team spirit. Other core values include individual reward, proper and appropriate management and quality in services and products (Editorial, 2018). The values ensure to keep the company in line with both ethical and legal restrictions to avoid scoping out of boundaries and ruin its reputable brand. 

Responsibilities and how it links with the Mission, Vision and Values 

Tim Cook, CEO 

Tim Cook is the company’s CEO and sits at the board of directors. His major functions include steering the company leadership, solving problems and always finding new ways of doing business (Eadicicco, 2015). He is the head of the firm and as such, all rests with him. In his duties, Tim Cook prioritizes innovation and that is why he saw the birth of the Apple watch a new technological invention in the company. 

Tim Cook in his capacity endeavours to innovate products that solve market niches hence syncing with the value of serving customers as well as both the vision and mission of the firm. Furthermore, Tim Cook has been on the radar for refusing to let the FBI have access to client phones in a bid to protect the client privacy. Despite being taken to court, Tim Cook held onto the client company privilege and thus blends well with the company vision to always protect the client and value to serve the client at all times as well as the value of good management (Eadicicco, 2015). 

Steve Zadesky, Vice president of product design 

Steve Zadesky, the vice president of iPod and iPhone product designs has worked at Apple for 16 years. Recent news have it that Zadesky has assumed the new role as the project titan that is a car projective undertaken by the firm in secrecy (Eadicicco, 2015). In all aspects, Zadesky conducts his role ethically. His responsibilities insist that he be focused and innovative in a bid to provide clients with new and necessary products. The responsibilities thus coincide with the mission and vision of the firm to strive for innovative ways of solving client needs and the value of service to clients and innovation as well as excellence. According to Eadicicco (2015), the new responsibility insists that he must assemble a team of 1000 personnel to assist him and as such refer to the value of good management as well. 

Joni Ive, Senior Vice President of Product Design 

Joni Ive is the senior vice president of the product design and has been a key player in the designing of gadgets such as iPhone and the initial iMac (Eadicicco, 2015). Furthermore, he stands as the brains behind the precision and signature detail of all Apple products and as such is greatly endowed with the mission and vision of innovative products in the market towards commanding the global market and industry of technology with quality products. 

Jeff Williams, Operations President 

Jeff Williams is in charge of operations and is the main reason as to why the company makes millions each year. Williams controls and oversees the supply chain of iPhone units making sure that enough units are sold to cash in millions (Eadicicco, 2015). Overseeing such tremendous amounts of purchases and sales require dedication and passion to meet company objectives. It further requires innovation necessary to formulate new ways of handling upcoming pressures in line of duty. As such, the vision of hard work and passion aligns well with his responsibilities making sure he keeps in check not to make faults in his line of work. 

Phil Schiller, Vice President in Charge of Marketing 

Phil Schiller is in the marketing department as the senior vice president and is tasked with the responsibility of being ethical not to communicate false detail to clients (Eadicicco, 2015). His responsibilities necessitate him to wear an ethical face and attitude and ensure to work towards achieving the company goals. In this regard, Phil works around both the mission and vision of company to further his duties and acts within the values of good management, team spirit and aggressiveness towards achievement to enable him fulfil his mandate as the senior vice president in the department of marketing Apple products. 

Eddy Cue, senior vice president of the internet and software services 

Eddy Cue is the senior vice president of the internet and software services having been the man and face behind the development of iTunes (Eadicicco, 2015). The app store and SOS are major inventions in the tech world and in his role, Eddy is responsible for innovative ways of simplifying complexities in the tech arena. Today, iTunes is a globally fascinated platform that allows for easy downloads of songs. The responsibilities of Eddy thus align with the mission and vision of an innovative company that is all about furthering the interests of the clients. Moreover, Eddy endows in the values of innovation and aggressiveness to succeed and attain achievement. 

Conclusion 

Apple has over the years made itself a giant in the tech world standing as the leading manufacturer and seller of mobile communication devices of media, personal computers and portable digital music players. The founder of the company, the late Steve Jobs ensured that innovation is the principle policy of the company leaving a legacy as one of the most innovative and competent CEOs in the world. The company enjoys a pool of professionals that collectively work towards enabling the company realize ultimate success in the technology world. These professionals work in respect to the mission, vision and values of the company to progress the firm and undertake their roles.
