Today the company already faces a lot of competition whereby better and even similar products are produced by other players in the market. Apple has the tendency of relying on specific suppliers to give them their products. As much as these suppliers are the best at what they do, the continued reliance on them makes their prices high leading to higher prices of Apple products. The company needs to change the production strategy in relation to this because whenever the relied on supplies produce bad products for the company, they go through technical issues affecting customer reliability. An example of such a case was when Apple had to attend to complains by customers complains about the battery life of the iPhones. The company stated that they use lithium-ion batteries from a single and specific supplier. As much as they know that this company produces low life batteries they continue using them and this leads to loss of consumers.
