The crimes against the person in the case scenario involve both battery and assault. The weapons involved in the case include an umbrella and a shoe. Four people in total were taken to custody. The four individuals were all whites and identified as Samuel Clark, Summer Breeze, Bubba Hurt, and Skeeter Redrum. Three individuals from a nearby café witnessed the crime. The three witnesses include; Alan Skittles, Michael Smith, and Andrea Sianturi. The crime against the person in the scenario caused significant damages, including death, permanent brain injury, and cuts on the face. Based on the pieces of evidence and witness reports, each of the four individuals taken to custody is to be charged with different offenses against humans. Samuel Clerk swung his umbrella to hit the face of Bubba Hurt. This caused Hurt an injury that later resulted in his death despite attempts to save his life at the hospital. This could lead to charges of aggravated battery in the court. However, there is no evidence that he intended to hit Bubba to hurt him. Moreover, Bubba and Skeeter were kicking Clark while he is lying back on the ground. He intended to send away the two and get the chance to escape from the beating, possibly. Therefore, the injury he caused was not intentional, hence, not an aggravated battery ( Strayer, 2017) . In the beginning, Bubba and Skeeter were yelling at Clark. Although there is a chance that Clark had physically hurt Summer or even assaulted her, he did not reach her this time. Therefore, he cannot be charged with any kind of assault in relation to the case scenario. Bubba and Skeeter yelled at Samuel Clark. The words they yelled at him were obviously threatening. By stating that this is the last time he laid his hand on her, they were obviously threatening to teach him a lesson. This could either be, by hurting him or at worse, kill him. However, they did not carry any deadly weapon while yelling at him. Moreover, none of them mentioned using any weapon while yelling at him. Therefore, at this instance, the two, Bubba and Skeeter are guilty of simple assault ( Strayer, 2017) After yelling at Samuel, Bubba pushed Samuel, causing him to fall to the ground. Skeeter, then, quickly followed it with a kick on his face, and they began kicking him. Skeeter's kick to the face resulted in a cut on Samuel's face. The kick on his face was intended to hurt him, and it did. Since Bubba and Skeeter kicked him, it is not clear whether he sustained more injuries. The two are, therefore, guilty of aggravated battery ( Strayer, 2017) . The whole incident took place because of Summer Breeze. Were it not for the possible disagreement between friends, Summer Breeze and Samuel Clark, and the crimes would not have been committed. Summer's first involvement in the crime is through bringing around Bubba and Skeeter. Summer must-have hired the two to beat up Samuel. Furthermore, while Samuel is lying down on his back on the street, after striking Bubba with the umbrella, Skeeter helps in removing shoes from summer's leg, and then Summer uses the shoe to strike Samuel's head. Samuel then goes unconscious, and after treatment, he is diagnosed with permanent brain injury. Summer, from the instance of hitting him with the shoes, is guilty of aggravated battery type of crimes against the person. Following the offenses committed by the three individuals, several charges apply to the law offenders. However, Bubba is dead, and hence, no charges can be imposed on him. Bubba and Skeeter, for the offenses of simple assault through yelling at Samuel, are to be penalized by giving a fine of $1000 and restitution ( Strayer, 2017) . They are, therefore, supposed to pay for medical charges of the assaulted Samuel. However, Bubba is dead, and the whole fee is to be charged on Skeeter. For the simple assault, Skeeter is to be imprisoned for one year. Skeeter is also responsible for the cut on Samuel's face as he kicked him on the face. This is an aggravated battery and is to be penalized by restitution, fines and a jail term, not less than one year and not more than twenty years. Summer is another party in the crime scene that deserves a lot of penalties following the charges she is guilty of. Summer plotted for the beating that Samuel received. She went ahead to physically beat Samuel with the shoe, hence guilty of aggravated battery. With respect to the Georgia District laws, aggravated battery is penalized by fines, restitution, and a jail term of 1-20 years ( Strayer, 2017) She is, therefore, surpassed to pay for the medical fees for Samuel, compensate for the health damages caused, and pay any additional fine, including those intended to support the affected individual until he is ready to work and pay for his bills.
Following the crimes committed by the four offenders in custody, Samuel Clark is neither going to neither serve a jail term nor do any form of penalty because the harm he caused was not intentional. Summer Breeze on the other side, guilty of aggravated battery, would be penalized by fines, a jail term of at least one year and not more than 20 years ( Strayer 2017) . Also, she would have to pay fines and restitution costs on top. Skeeter, on the other side, would serve a jail term period between one and twenty years alongside a fine and restitution. Bubba would have had similar charges as Skeeter. However, he is dead and will not face charges. Based on the statement that Bubba and Skitter yelled at Samuel, the two wanted to protect Breeze. However, Samuel was not armed with any deadly weapon. Moreover, Samuel was no more going towards Breeze's apartment at the moment they stroke him. Nevertheless, they used extreme force against Samuel, yet there was no reasonable need for the force as Samuel was not armed. Therefore, they intended to harm him rather than protect the Breeze as it sounded. While the two, Bubba and Skeeter, were kicking the helpless Samuel, he swung his umbrella and hit the head of Bubba. Bubba later succumbed to death following the strike he received from Samuel. Samuel's strike was intended to push away the two young men who had attacked him and were ruthlessly manhandling him. Bubba and Skeeter attacked Samuel, and since Samuel did not have any weapon intended to be used for striking, their act of striking him was by no condition, an act of self-defense. Samuel was approached harshly, and the two attackers wanted to harm him even further. He swung his umbrella out of self-defense. The force used against him by the Skeeter and Bubba paused substantial threat, and he was at the risk of even losing his life ( Strayer, 2017) . After hitting Bubba, Breeze came in and, together with Skeeter, hit Samuel on the head using shoe. Concerning self-defense, only one of the four law offenders used an extra force in self-defense. Clark was the only individual of the four who was facing the extreme threat of harm and had to use the umbrella to defend himself from any further damage.
