Importance of having an Ethics statement
Every organization should have Ethics of statement that guides all the activities taking place in that organization. Ethics of statement comprises of the code of conduct, code of ethics, value statement and core values. All these aspects are important because they guide people on how they conduct themselves and how they treat customers, shareholders and the community. Individual consideration of ethical values will enable one to become responsible for their actions and to be able to act in accordance with the moral standards in a society. It is important to have ethics statement because it acts as a reminder to every individual on how they should behave and act in accordance with the expected ethical code of conduct (Dubinsky & Richter 2015).
