One cannot survive this world alone, he or she needs other people. We are meaning in that meaning in itself is not meaning unless it is shared. Meaning itself is being, and being is nothing but togetherness, being with one another. For example, we can have someone representing the world, he or she has to address it for the benefit of it, in order to make it its reality. This represents being a meaning. “People are strange” or “People are incredible” is a judgment that a speaker may use to exclude himself, not knowing that by saying “people” he or she is actually referring to everyone, himself/herself included.
The typical traits, (ethnic, cultural, social generational), that people have, constitute some pattern of singularity and hence, do not abolish singular differences. This displays the singular multiplicity of origin. Self is the concept related with difference to finish singularity. Singularity is a term that is used to refer to the state, fact or truth, or quality of being solitary. Individuality is a behavior or rather, the character that distinguishes one from other people who are of a similar kind, especially when carefully observed (Jean-Luc, 2000). Additionally, existence can be explained as the fact or condition of living or having objective reality. Having explained all of these words, we might see differences among them but according to Nancy’s ideology to self, singularity, individuality, and existence, I get that all in all, people show some singularity, according to which existence exists, even though people may show some unfamiliarity. The origin is being the other meaning other than every being, whereby “other” here means one amongst many. Likewise, “we” is a term that expresses always us all.

I also agree with Nancy on his emphasis of a constitutive plurality of what we are in that, we are an organized existence with regards to the large numbers that we are. We coexist. Coexistence is living well with one another, despite the differences or contrasts, especially if a specific approach is followed. Coexistence is very essential, and that is why the issue of being singular plural is being brought to the table for further clarification.
Sovereignty is the status, territory, or authority of a sovereign or rather, a principal. It can also be seen as a royal position. According to his thought, the place of sovereignty assumes that one can separate requests of political-philosophy from political reasoning. By doing this, ethics can be applied to a group of people to define how they should conduct themselves in a society. All of these ethics, of course set up with the involvement of the people also, and are not the principal’s single-handed doing. One cannot survive alone, remember? Likewise the people in the royal positions cannot make decisions concerning the society alone. Members of that society must be involved.
Generally, this whole philosophy expounds about how one cannot survive this world alone. Using the 2016 general elections as an example, those who were contending for political seats, possibly, would not have campaigned alone, and neither would their campaigning teams have made a success of their aspirations, acting in isolation from the nominees. They had to convince the residents into voting for them. The government itself cannot work alone in chipping in leaders to the government. Residents have to vote in the leaders they want. And since there is the concept of unfamiliarity, not all people will settle on the same decision, hence the idea of making decisions according to the will of the majority. So when it comes to the elections, appointments are done relative to the leaders who had the highest votes or rather, who were chosen by the majority. Meaning, no matter how powerful one is, they need others. That’s why Heidegger said that “origin is being the other meaning of being other than every being; “Other” here means one amongst many (Jean-Luc, 2000). It is not superior but just one of the others.
