This essay is intended to emphasize the risks and benefits of using renewable energy generators as it is a matter for all people and may help raise awareness about the preservation of the environment and the rationalization of the appropriate use of some resources, in this case, electricity.

Today the world is undergoing climatic changes that affect us all without a doubt. These changes are largely produced by the greenhouse effect, which is generated by the pollution produced by fossil fuels used for the production of electricity, for this reason, is that other alternatives should be sought that do not increase this problem and that in addition, they can help to the economy of the world. The use of hydrocarbons that are used as the main source of energy for the creation of electricity presents two major problems. The petroleum raw material of the hydrocarbons is not renewable, and the deposits that are of extraction maintain a low level. Besides, the environmental impact which they leave as a result of the burning of these fuels is exorbitant causing ecological disasters that are not taken into account (Edenhofer et al., 2011).

That is why it is necessary to look for alternatives, and one very important is the renewable energies. One can take advantage of the resources offered by nature, also depending on the locality and the resources offered by the environment from where they derive the different types that are: with water, by means of the fall of water from a certain height with the help of the creation of dams or dams, wind, where there are strong wind currents are placed a series of mills, which turn strongly and finally the sun, by means of panels that receive the rays which are transformed indirectly generating electric energy.

The renewable energies are those that represent an infinite resource and that are in nature thanks to natural processes. Their characteristics are the following: they are completely inexhaustible. To obtain the energy by these ways does not produce the toxic wastes that produce the use of hydrocarbons such as CO2, which is the main gas associated with the greenhouse effect. It avoids investing in fuel supplies, travel and links to grid installations because its benefit is local. As a result, renewable energies have a series of checks that recognize its beneficial effects and that aim to meet the energy needs of today. The use of electric energy has become fundamental and vital for humanity to carry out its activities and meet their needs. That said, the industries producing or selling electric energy benefit and try to satisfy people without importing anything. However, some methods of obtaining electricity are hostile to the environment, so we should opt to implement other types of generators of renewable electric energy using resources that do not adversely impact the environment we live in.

However, irrational use of resources, whether natural or artificial, is damaging mainly to the place where we live, the economy and dehumanization of people who only take advantage of the situation for resorting to the use of energy renewables would mark a good change in the following aspects. They are respectful of the environment; they do not pollute and represent the alternative of energy cleaner until the moment (Panwar et al., 2011). By generating resources by itself, solar energy contributes to diversification and self-sufficiency. It develops the industry and economy of the region in which it is installed. It generates a large number of jobs, which are expected to increase even more in a few years, taking into account their demand and implementation.

In some countries, this type of energy generators have already been implemented and have shown many benefits such as the reduction of the use of nuclear energy and fuels. Since these methods have been implemented, the amount of harmful gases and wastes obtained from generators of renewable energy are limited since renewable resources of the environment are used (sunlight, water, wind, among others). It is only a matter of monitoring the installations and observing that everything goes well.

Nevertheless, although they are very good alternatives, there are risks and sacrifices that must be made, many countries have stopped or have not wanted to implement their use due to the following situations. The installation and the realization of these generators are extremely expensive so only some countries would have the privilege of being able to enjoy them, specifically developed countries. Large portions of land are needed that only a forest, rainforest or natural space can provide to kill them in their entirety. Only certain equipment can be used in certain places, for example, space where the wind will flow constantly or where the sun's rays are adequate to run the generators. And finally, some of the generators have lower energy efficiency compared to those who use radioactivity. Taking into account these points, in my case, it would be a little difficult for countries to radically change its form of electric production, although today there are already some of these generators. These include hydroelectric and solar panels but it is not enough to supply a huge population that mostly do not take into account their misuse and in some cases, refuse to pay for a service that depends on a lot of it or worse, that institutions abuse in the collection of such service.

The fact of not emitting pollution and radiation is a very important point in favor of these energies, but these produce another type of contamination like the visual and the acoustic challenges that harm too many people who are near a generating plant. Besides, these plants occupy large amounts of land. However, not all places have these factors, just as they cannot be fully exploited because if for example, a dam is constructed, the habitat and cycles of the animals living in that sea or that are being altered. So that, in a certain way, renewable energies would not be a favorable factor for the protection of the planet and its environment. Instead, science and technology may advance fast enough, and new forms of obtaining electrical energy can be discovered and developed using those infinite factors that are counted, thus giving a great step for the aid of our planet again.

In conclusion, we are still in time to do something so that we are the beneficiaries and to preserve the environment. We must demand a good quality of service so that the institutions that are in charge of the production and distribution of electric energy deserves the income they get from the population and so we can thank the world for what it has provided. We must take this into account: Only with sources of indigenous energy, inexhaustible and clean, such as renewable energy, is a prosperous and sustainable future for our societies.
