An effective team leader should be able to exhibit desirable traits that can be emulated by the members so that they can inspire confidence in their juniors (Aga, Noorderhaven, and Vallejo, 2016). A team leader should exhibit qualities such as integrity, discipline, accountability, and innovativeness. Organizations can evaluate the traits of team leaders through occasional random auditing or assessments of the team's performance against the set-out goal.
