Organizations face hard situations in ensuring operations run smoothly daily while still maintaining harmony within the people in the organization and that their rights are not violated or mistreated. However, it is difficult to do so especially if those in authority are using their power to intimidate those below them into giving in into their demands. Such people have no regard for the law or respect to the position they hold as in the case of the principal for Some Middle School who sexually assaulted his student. The Bible condemns such acts and according to the book of Deuteronomy, a man found guilty of rape would be put to death, and such a terrible act is equivalent to murder (KJV, Deut 22:25-26). However, since we live in modern times where we are governed by laws it is only wise to expose such immoral people and report to the authority for justice to take its cause.
According to the book of Revelation, God offers the victims everlasting comfort and complete emotional healing (KJV, Rev 21:4). Additionally the Bible also advocates for people to seek ways which will lead to peace and the ways in which we can support one another (KJV, Romans 14:19). Embracing the spirit of togetherness, offering help and standing with the victims of such ordeals to make sure that justice is served is the best way in helping them find peace and start the journey of emotional healing. Moreover, it will discourage future perpetrators from trying to engage in such immoral acts. Leaders should embrace Christian ethics to guide them and to help them in being a reflection of the best knowledge in discipline. They should be a source of inspiration and guidance to the young and naïve minds that thirst for knowledge and not the perpetrators of harassment, mistreatment and injustice.
