Bill Gates developed a technology empire in the name of Microsoft Corporation. As a result, Gates made a lot of millions that he quickly converted into billions. He has been one of the top wealthiest people in the whole world for over three decades. Although Bill Gates retired from the Microsoft the company he co-founded, he is getting more lavish every year. According to the Bloomberg index for billionaires, he is currently worth almost one hundred billion dollars, nine billion dollars richer than he was the previous year and twenty-four billion dollars richer than he was five years ago. With that kind of money, it is hard to think of how one can spend it. Bill Gates has some indulgences such as the Washington real estate that is worth one hundred and twenty-five million dollars, a private airplane as well as the fleet of luxury cars.

Bill Gates' wealth distribution is as follows; his house in Washington is one of his critical investments which is worth 125 billion dollars. Then the house took seven years to be completed; it is so large that it is referred to as Xanadu 2.0. The house has trampoline rooms, swimming pool, and beach, library with hidden bookcases, twenty-four bathrooms and six kitchens. Gate has also invested in another real estate apart from his own house; the investments include South Carolina horse ranch, Wyoming ranch, and a large mansion in Florida. The three investments combined contribute to almost half of Gates total wealth.

Gates’ family wealth is also distributed in a collection of an expensive luxury car that only demonstrate his undying love for automobiles. Gates' collection of cars include Porsche 911, Jaguar XJ6 as well as a Ferrari 348 among others that counts as one of his valued assets. He also owns a private jet to go around the world with whenever he wishes to. The plane is known as Bombardier BD-700 Global Express that initially at the time when he purchased it was about forty-five million dollars in worth. Gates has also been able with the help from his manager Michael Larson to obtain a great amount of wealth through smart investments. Although he has progressively decreased his shares in Microsoft over the years, the shares remaining still contributes massively to his portfolio. Other investments that continue to increase Gates' wealth distribution include his waste management plant, Walmart as well as the Canadian national railway.

It is ethical that Bill Gates makes almost five billion dollars in a single year from his various wealth distribution and investments. This is true because he made his wealth through hard work, diligence, and commitment on every project and opportunity that prevailed along his path. Gates was not born with wealth; his father was only a partner at a law firm. After co-founding his technology empire with his partner, Gates worked so smartly and hard to maintain the company and to create wealth for his family. Another reason is that he has over three decades continued his wealth continually growing despite the economic challenges as well as fierce competition Gates has had to endure over the years. More so, he donates a large portion of his wealth through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation that he runs together with his wife. These charitable donations go to different causes across the world to support education, health care and other programs that improve the standard of living for people.
