African American people used to go on streets with written burners and posters. Their past black lives matters protests were successful as they were engaged to a conclusive agreement later. The advocates of the movement are intensely conscious, rituals of modesty do not exalt dark skin that the whole society derides and cut down (Fiske, & Hancock, 2016). Those who participate in the protests have refused to engage in victim attributing and dead-end stories that stress black on black misconduct or that suggests cultural reintegration while shunning moral distinctions. The old culture has changed and the blacks have accepted to get civilized and conduct their bold protests in modesty. Such features strengthen white supremacy and reinforce the resist premise. Therefore, the current movements have rejected the old way to show their modesty of doing it so that the authority responsible for enacting the required change should not have any reason not to. The struggle for racial justice continues in Obama age. However, the presence of Obama in the white house signified that the blacks were now accepted by many idyllic of multicultural Americans (Fickford, 2015). The current generation has observed building of a mass confinement government that savagely target black community, where social relations are posited by dominant conceptions of racial relations or the perceptibility of black influential as a measure of progress. However, currently, the criminal justice system makes social control duties like harnessing of black surplus labor in the name of corporate profits and regulation of black bodies among others forms of discrimination (Laing, 2017). Therefore, it has significantly changed some civil rights reinforcing them in favor of the blacks. The old culture where blacks had no authoritative word to the whites is now gone and the black culture has risen to the senior most seat of the state.
The outcry black lives movement represents all people of color regardless of their segment. Fighting physical racism in the past separation days which has lacked unmistakable ciphers of apartheid around which prevalent protests could adhere. Separation caused people lose contact making them weak in the fight for their rights. Then, the white supremacy got a chance to prevail as mass confinement and method of racialized policing on which it depended on exposed the renovated but no less cruel. Although black lives matters have continually gained blacks power, they avoid involvement with the mainstream politics which has long been unable to pursue a genuinely progressive vision of change. Their political sides also created major differences making the black lives matter organizers to shun active politics. They also did not like to flame their protest will to be political so that they can instill the intended change in the society. Notably, the traditional culture of black American has changed significantly due to enrichment by organizers of movement. The old belief that black people were subordinate has long been uprooted by protests (Taylor, 2014). The black American people are now active in search of power which they think will help them reduce racism. All form of discrimination has reduced too.

The only difference between the past protests and the most recent is only the platform. The most recent taking the social media as technology has advanced to that level while the old one took street way as was the easier way to mobilize people. Considering the black lives matter protests that occurred from the 1960s, one can have a clear view of how they have empowered black American culture to date. Notably, the longtime oppression by the whites has been subdued by the awakening of the black lives matters protests. The street way culture has achieved a lot and therefore is a bold strategy that should be utilized with modesty not forgetting the rise of President Obama to power which is one of the significant steps that black Americans dreamt of. It marked a new beginning where blacks could rise in power to the most senior position in the states. However, the main aim of black lives matters is not active politics and thus they have refrained from active politics to pursue their target of redeeming the black from racism independent of political power.
