Blade Runner is a science fiction movie which is based on the novel ‘Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?’ By Philip K.Dick and its narrative is based on an intense detective story set in a view of the future that is corrupted and beyond recognition and it raises questions about what it means to be human. The movie is based in the year 2019 and it involves human droids who are programmed with artificial abilities which they are aware of. They constantly evolve to the point that they have reached to the levels of human intelligence. They were developed by Dr. Eldron Tyrell to be used as slave labor for mankind because they were perceived to be attacking human kind before they were allowed to come to earth.

The question of the replicants being human or not and if they deserve to be killed is a question that is difficult to tackle since the replicants are artificially created in laboratories and have not gone through the natural process of acquiring life.
